Pounding kick drums, electro bassline, hands-in-the-air build-ups: “Make Me Feel Love” bears all the hallmarks of dance floor-filling euphoria. But rising up through the rush, Persona Non Lisa’s vocals ring out like a distress signal in a chaotic world. Her performance soars and cries, calling out for love through an eerie sheen of digital processing. The track by the San Francisco-based collaboration calls to mind nu-disco stalwarts Tensnake, Hercules & Love Affair and Anabel Englund, and will feel equally at home on the earbuds as the club soundsystem. The single comes packaged with a re-work from producer Austin Fraser, who ups the dance floor drama to new heights. Persona Non Lisa & Austin Fraser’s “Make Me Feel Love” will be released to all major digital music platforms February 8th 2019 on POPGANG Records.
